A Unique Team of Cincinnati Equestrians

Meghan Courtney, president of Courtney Equine Services and Andrea Huber, president of Legacy Farms collaborated in 2008 to begin a boarding and training program unlike any in the area.

Meghan riding the young KO at eight months pregnant.

Training, Show Coaching, Purchases and sales and hauling are a few of the many services offered by Courtney Equine Services;however, the service that sets Meghan apart from the rest is her certification with the American Society of Equine Appraisers. Meghan has been appraising horses for two years for purposes such as; charitable donations, tax deductions, Sales, etc…

Recently Courtney Equine Services was selected to receive the 2011 Best of Loveland Award in the Equestrian Equipment and Supplies category by the US Commerce Association. We are all very excited about this at Legacy. Farms! The press release can be found on the USCA website and will also be posted on www.courtneyequineservices.com

A True Story

Meghan’s water broke at the Regional’s show ground. Her baby girl was born at 3:53am and her girls were showing at 8:00am that same day. Sarah Corwin on Whimsey and Madison Bennet on Etonia rode all three days in the rain and cold with good standing. They were prepared and capable. It was a delight for me, their stand-in coach, to observe their success. Meghan is back on the job at Legacy Farm Ltd. coaching her students.

What a great job all. Good luck in 2012 🙂

The Program

Robert Dover told us all when he was here that we all need a program. We have one at Legacy Farm Ltd. that has been in place for three years. With multiple successes in schooling and recognized competition, we have put people and horses together. Full participation is the key to understanding a discipline that requires total communication.

For inquiry into the program, contact Meghan Courtney at Courtney Equine Services. [email protected]
